Jim Flanagan, a native of Ballyvourney in County Cork, sings a eclectic mix of songs in Irish and English, providing a superb offering of traditional singing at its best. His songs are drawn from a variety of sources, and represent Jim's exceedingly varied repertoire of styles and genres. "Here and There" illustrates Jim's "old fashioned, highly ornamented style" on several unaccompanied tracks, with his sensitive guitar playing providing the backup on the remaining tracks.
